This is an on-going outreach series that is part of the Extending the Care ETC program which emphasizes wellness.  They differ slightly from the ETC series, in that these seminars are offered in abridged versions of the two-hour ETC sessions.
 
Our speakers are physicians and health care clinicians from UPMC Passavant and the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, plus some business professionals from the community.  
 
Moreover, with our partnership among educational professionals in school districts and community colleges in the region, we can arrange to provide Act 48 accreditation and certificates for attending our education seminars.
 
We have established partnerships to bring our outreach programs to many school districts and  community colleges in Allegheny, Butler, and Beaver Counties plus churches; senior centers; faith-based, service, family, and community organizations; libraries; and so on.
 
These partnerships provide Passavant with tremendous exposure and great opportunities for the community to meet the professionals and hear important information.  As mentioned above, certificates of attendance are also available.  For Your Health was established in 2004.
 
 
These seminars are open to the community and free of charge.
