Legacy Music Series

In Summer 2010, Passavant Hospital Foundation introduced a new outreach program, The Legacy Music Series, supported by music performed by talented volunteer musicians at UPMC Passavant McCandless.  The series is meant to provide a pleasant diversion during difficult times for patients and families. In a casual environment, talented musicians come to play music from classical to new age repertories that they love while helping to provide healing and calming environment.  “Healing comes in many forms.  The approach of music is a way of letting the patient and families know that we care and that we are all in this together.”

Passavant Hospital Foundation continually seeks talented musicians who want to help lift spirits and volunteer their time by giving the gift of music through the “Legacy Music Series”. Inquiries are now being accepted.  Please call Passavant Hospital Foundation for more information – 412-367-6640.
