Cafeteria News: There are overdue cafeteria payment slips in the student’s folders this week regarding money or payment due on their lunch account. At the end of the year if the lunch account is not paid in full, the students will not receive their report card. If you have any questions about your students account balance, you can always check it out on EZSCHOOLPAY.COM, call me at 455-7113,or email at elanger@bserie.org.
Next week we will be sending home information on what will be happening in the cafeteria for next year. This includes the new USDA guidelines for student lunches. We are always willing to take ideas and need help with planning our menus so if you want to help in this process, please let me know. Also, please think about a couple of things for next year:
•We are considering offering breakfast in the mornings for the students. What are your thoughts?
•Are you willing to help out with students projects that include the new USDA My Plate project?
•We need to compile a School Wellness Policy as a requirement of the Department of Education and the National School Lunch Program.
Your help is GREATLY APPRECIATED. The more we have involved, the quicker we will get this task completed.
